A Listening Ear and a Kind Heart

Virginia is not the typical person whose story you see each month in Faith in Action. She’s not addicted – unless it’s to doing good deeds for others. She’s not homeless – although she actually spends very little time in her own home.

Virginia is a volunteer at the Mission’s Thrift Store on South Main. She first came into our lives as part of a city program to gain work experience, and we were so thrilled with her that she’s been on the staff at our Thrift Store for nearly five years now.
